Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You. — Ps 25:5 BSB

What wonderful things does God sometimes show us in His Word! How our eyes are sometimes opened to “behold wondrous things out of His law” (Psalm 119:18). There are times when we read Scripture and it seems to fill our hearts with beauty, fullness, sweetness, and glory. But what we truly need is for these blessed truths to be taken out of God’s Word and applied to our hearts by His Spirit.

I seek no new revelations. Day by day I am more convinced that all saving truth is found in God’s Word. I need no visions, no dreams, no speculations. My prayer is that the truths I see in Scripture may be applied to my heart by the Spirit with supernatural power. I long for these truths to be grafted into my soul, applied to my conscience, and revealed with such life and light that they become a living reality within me. When this happens, it brings divine blessings—filling us with grace, enlarging our hearts, strengthening our faith, and drawing us deeper into the love and joy of God.
