Retrospection Should Lead to Devotedness to God

Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. — 1 Sam 12:24

My God, my King, thy various praise
Shall fill the remnant of my days;
Thy grace employ my humble tongue
Till death and glory raise the song.

May every hour successive bear
Some thankful tribute to thine ear;
And by thy grace accepted be,
As works of love perform’d for Thee.
