A Pilgrim to a Heavenly Country

Now they desire a better country, that is an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hat prepared for them a city. — Heb 11:16

’Tis true, we are but strangers
And sojourners below;
And countless snares and dangers
Surround the path we go:
Though painful and distressing,
Yet there’s a rest above,
And onward we are pressing
To reach that land of love.
