Submission to God

We have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? — Heb 12:9

Oh let my trembling soul be still,
While darkness veils this mortal eye,
And wait thy wise, thy holy will
Wrapp’d yet in tears and mystery:
I cannot, Lord, thy purpose see,
Yet all is well — since ruled by thee.
