Sources of Sorrow -- Indwelling Sin

I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. — Rom 7:23

Nature may raise her fleshly strife,
Reluctant to the heavenly life:
But grace omnipotent at length
Shall arm the saint with saving strength,
Through the sharp war with aids attend,
And his last conflict sweetly end.
