Of the Savior, and only the Savior, can it be said in the fullest, broadest, and most unqualified sense, "He went about doing good." From this description, it is clear that He did good personally. The Gospels often tell us that He touched the leper with His own hand, that He anointed the eyes of the

blind, and that even when asked to speak a word of healing from afar, He usually chose to go Himself to the sickbed and perform the cure personally. This is a lesson for us—if we want to do good, we should do it ourselves. "He has left us an example that we should follow in His steps."

Jesus often stays longest where many of "the trees of the Lord" are planted. The fellowship of Christians helps maintain their fellowship with Christ. Go to the assemblies of the saints if you want to keep close to the King of saints.
