There is no freedom like the freedom in Christ, for it frees the soul and secures eternity.

Spurgeon’s Daily Help
God doesn't differentiate in His love for His children. To Him, a child is a child; He won't treat them as hired servants, but they will feast on the best and join in the celebration as if they had never gone astray. There are no chains in the court of King Jesus. Our full entry into His promises might
be gradual, but it is certain. Maybe you're thinking, "I wish I could enjoy the promises and live freely in my Lord's commands." "If you truly believe, you can." Free yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter, for Jesus sets you free.

There are some peculiar people who, no doubt, will make it to Heaven because they are on the right path, but we wouldn't necessarily want to spend much time with them on the journey. They can be difficult, prickly, and not very pleasant to be around.
They might be like spiritual hedgehogs—alive and useful, and they certainly show God's wisdom and patience, but they're not the best company.
