Christ’s love draws us near, and even the place of His rest becomes holy to those who love Him.

Spurgeon’s Daily Help
Some of you have lost friends—come to the grave of your best friend, your brother, the one who "sticks closer than a brother." Come to the grave of your dearest loved one, O Christian, because Jesus is your husband. "Your Maker is your husband, the Lord of Hosts is His name." Doesn’t love draw you there?
Don’t the sweet whispers of love call you? Isn’t the place made holy where someone so beloved rested, even if only for a moment? Surely, you need no persuasive words. I can only simply and earnestly repeat, "Come, see the place where the Lord lay."
