Joy in God is the fuel of true obedience. It turns duty into delight and sacrifice into privilege.

Spurgeon’s Daily Help
Delighting in serving God is a sign of His acceptance. Those who serve God with a sad heart, doing what they find unpleasant, are not truly serving Him; they bring the form of worship, but the life is missing. Obedience that is not voluntary is disobedience because the Lord looks at the heart. If He
sees that we serve Him out of obligation rather than love, He will reject our offering. Service combined with joy is service from the heart, and therefore it is true. Take away joyful willingness from a Christian, and you remove the proof of their sincerity.
Joy is the support of our strength; in the joy of the Lord, we find strength.

Nothing is too small for a father when it troubles his little child; and your great God, who has chosen to care for you, counting even the hairs on your head and not allowing a sparrow to fall without His will, will not think you are bothering Him if
you bring your daily troubles to Him, even the small ones.
