There's an old saying, "Go from nature up to nature's God," but that's a tough uphill climb. It's much easier to start with God and then look at nature. If you know and love God, you'll be amazed at how easily you can hear music in the waves, songs in the rustling winds, and see God in everything—in

the stones, the rocks, and the flowing brooks. You'll find Him everywhere, in the sounds of cattle, the rolling thunder, and the wild tempests. Put Christ first, and you'll discover that He truly is the wisdom of God in your life.

We should never boast about tomorrow because we don't know what the day will bring. The promises of a beautiful morning often go unfulfilled; clouds gather, and the sun that rose in splendor may set in rain. We make our lives as comfortable as possible

and say, "Relax, soul, you're secure, nothing can shake you." But how quickly things change—the mountain shakes, the comfort disappears, and the joy vanishes!
