Yet not even a hair of your head will perish. — Luke 21:18 BSB

Jesus warned His disciples about the hardships they would face—persecutions, betrayals, and even death. Yet He assured them that even in the midst of these dangers, they would be safe: “Not a hair of your head will perish.”

It’s possible for a person to be physically harmed, even killed, and yet remain untouched in their soul. As long as we remain faithful to Christ, no real harm can come to us. The only true evil in the world is sin, and as long as we stay true to Christ, no suffering or trial can destroy us.

We should not focus on avoiding hardship but rather on staying loyal and true to Christ through whatever comes our way. He will protect us in ways that truly matter, keeping us safe in His care.
