Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. — Matt 24:46 BSB

In the great events that will mark the end, not one of Christ’s followers will be lost. Even as the sun darkens, the stars fall, and the heavens shake, the angels will be gathering God’s chosen ones from all corners of the earth.

As a source of confidence for those who have entrusted their lives to Christ, we have the assurance that not a single word He ever spoke will fail to come true.

The timing of Christ’s return is among the secret things that belong to God. We shouldn’t trouble ourselves by trying to figure it out. When it happens, it will be sudden and unexpected, leaving no time to prepare. That’s why we must always be ready.

When Christ returns, He should find His followers quietly and faithfully doing their work. This is the only true preparation for His coming—whether through our death or His glorious return.
