Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! — Ps 34:8 BSB

We learn of God’s goodness through experience.

When Nathanael doubted that anything good could come from Nazareth, Philip didn’t argue with him. Instead, he simply said, "Come and see." Nathanael went, met Jesus, heard His words, and was convinced.

Some people don’t believe that God is good or that the blessings Christians talk about are real. There’s little use in trying to reason with them. But if we can get them to experience God for themselves, they’ll soon discover that the reality is even greater than we can describe.

To discover more of the goodness in Christ, we must learn through personal experience. It's good to take God at His word and test His promises. In every one, we will find a treasure of blessing.

God continually invites us to trust and obey Him, saying, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."
