But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. — Matt 6:33 BSB

Our only concern in life should be to do God’s will. We are not to worry about food, clothing, or material needs—that is God’s responsibility. Our job is to fulfill the duties He has given us. Many people are more anxious about their material needs than about faithfully doing God’s will. They worry that God won’t provide for them but don’t worry as much about whether they are being faithful to Him.

We must learn that God will take care of our needs, and our primary focus should be on doing what He has called us to do. Even if we find ourselves in difficult circumstances, such as being in need or even starving, our duty remains the same: to do God’s will and trust Him to provide in His time.
