Morning

For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. — Col 3:3 NET

How can we who died to sin still live in it?—I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.—He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised.—So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away – look, what is new has come!

We are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ.—“Just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us.”—Now you are Christ’s body, and each of you is a member of it.—“Because I live, you will live too.”

“To the one who conquers, I will give him some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on that stone will be written a new name that no one can understand except the one who receives it.”

Evening

“Look how much he loved him!” — John 11:36 NET

He died for all.—“No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends.”

He always lives to intercede for them.—“I am going away to make ready a place for you.”

“I will come again and take you to be with me, so that where I am you may be too.”—“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am.”—Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end.

We love because he loved us first.—For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised.

“If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.”
