For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven eyes of the LORD, which scan the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. — Zech 4:10 BSB

Just as the oak comes from the acorn, the eagle from the egg, and the harvest from the seed, so the glory of the coming age is unfolding now from the Christ-life within us, just as the majesty of His kingdom was wrapped up in the babe of Bethlehem that night.

Let us take Christ for all our life. Let us unite with His person and His risen body. We can truly say, "The Lord is for the body, and the body is for the Lord!" We are members of His body, His flesh, and His bones.

He who gave His only begotten Son as an infant into the arms of a cruel and ungrateful world will not withhold Him in all His fullness from our hearts if we will only open our hearts and give Him full possession. Then, we will know His quickening life even in this earthly existence. One day, our hope will be fully realized as we sit with Him on His throne, with every fiber of our being glorified in Him.
