And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. — Col 2:10 BSB

In Him, we are complete. The perfect plan for our life of holy service is already complete in Him in heaven, like an architect’s model prepared and finished. But now, the Holy Spirit works to bring that model into our lives, reproducing Christ’s graces and gifts in us as we need them, day by day. We receive of His fullness—grace for grace. His grace supplies our need, His strength meets our weakness, His Spirit fills our spirit. He is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

But it’s much more than receiving abstract help and grace. It’s a personal relationship with Jesus Himself!

Lord, help us today to receive from You the grace that will perfect us in every trial.
