See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting. — Ps 139:24 BSB

There may seem to be little difference between two lives that both experience frequent victories. But the small difference between constant victory and occasional victory is vast—it defines true success or failure. One reflects the divine, the other remains human; one is lasting, the other is fleeting.

God wants to lead us to a place of unwavering consistency, making us immovable in our faith and trust in Him. We often underestimate the seriousness of even the smallest surrender to sin, as it can lead to a downward spiral that only God knows where it will end.

Let us be among those who do not shrink back into defeat but believe unto the saving of our souls. Each victory today paves the way for greater victories tomorrow, while every surrender opens the door to future defeats.

Let us commit everything we have received from our Master to His keeping, trusting Him to establish us and hold us fast in the hope of eternal life, firm until the end.
