For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad. — 2 Cor 5:10 BSB
There will come a day when our toil and trials will end. Someday, our names will be called before all of creation, and the record of our lives will be read, including the things we’ve long forgotten. Our hearts will be moved, and we’ll bow our heads in humility as we hear the Master recount the victories and services we’ve forgotten. Perhaps from among the saved, He will bring forward the souls we’ve helped win for Christ and those they, in turn, have reached. As we see the impact of things that seemed insignificant at the time, we will fall before the throne and declare, "Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to Your name be the glory!"
Beloved, every day pages are being added to the story of our lives. We are shaping the record with every action, and unseen hands are preserving it. Soon, it will be read before the universe and weighed in the light of eternity.
