As for the rest of the acts of Solomon—all that he did, as well as his wisdom—are they not written in the Book of the Acts of Solomon? — 1 Kgs 11:41 BSB

Everything is written down. Not all of it is recorded in the Bible, but it is all written in the chronicles of life. When ancient scribes wrote on paper, the ink would press through, leaving marks on the pages beneath. In the same way, our lives leave a record, visible not just in the world but in the pages of God’s book. We read that the books will be opened for judgment, and Solomon reminds us that God will bring every deed to light, whether good or evil.

Solomon’s record is sealed, but we still have time to shape ours. The young especially have much of their lives ahead of them. They should remember that all their actions are being recorded, even those hidden from human eyes. These secret things will one day be revealed before all creation. It’s vital to live each day in a way that will bring joy, not shame, when the truth is finally unveiled. When the day of judgment comes, we won’t be judged by how impressive our words were, but by the holiness of our lives.
