Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of adversity come and the years approach of which you will say, “I find no pleasure in them,” — Eccl 12:1 BSB

It is easier to begin a Christian life in youth than at any other time. It’s easy to train the heart to cling to the cross before it becomes attached to the world’s false treasures. Teaching young hands to play a musical instrument is far easier than training stiff, aging fingers. Likewise, it’s easier for young hearts to learn to worship and serve God. Keeping the heart pure and tender is far easier than trying to restore purity and tenderness once they have been lost.
