Little things are the greatest obstacles to grace; guard against the little foxes.

Spurgeon’s Daily Help
As far as the Lord gives us grace to suffer for Christ, to suffer with Christ, He honors us. Afflictions can’t sanctify us unless Christ uses them as His tools. Our joys and efforts can’t prepare us for Heaven without Jesus shaping our hearts and preparing us to share in the inheritance of the saints
in light. Our griefs don’t diminish our praise; they’re the bass notes in our life’s song. This valley of tears is just the path to a better country; this world of sorrow is just the stepping stone to a world of joy.

The sea is made of drops, and rocks are composed of grains. The sea that separates your heart from Christ might be filled with the drops of your little sins, and the rock that almost wrecked your soul’s ship may have been built by the daily actions of
unnoticed faults. If you want to live with Christ, walk with Christ, and have fellowship with Christ, be mindful of the "little foxes that spoil the vines."
