Spurgeon’s Daily Help
Oh, you kind and loving hearts who may not be rich in money but are rich in love—and that’s the world’s best wealth—add this golden coin among your silver ones, and it will make them holy.
The love of Christ doesn’t drive out our love for family and friends; instead, it makes our love purer and sweeter.
Remember, human love is very precious. Oh, but to have the love of Christ! His love is "as strong as death and mightier than the grave."
The most overwhelming thought of all is that He loved us when there was nothing good in us at all.

If I had to choose the part of the Christian life where there is the most joy, besides the land of Beulah (which is the most beautiful part of Immanuel’s land because it’s so close to Canaan), I would choose that area of godly experience that lies in
the direction of the sunrise. It’s filled with the pearls of love and brightened by the joyful songs of the birds of hope. This place is called the land of our betrothal. Here, faith sits under her vine and fig tree, and no one can make her afraid.
