Work on developing a cheerful attitude; do your best to carry a smile with you wherever you go. Remember, this is just as much a command from God as the one that says, "You shall love the Lord with all your heart."

Contentment is the crown jewel of a happy life.

If you’ve been wandering like Noah’s dove, flying over the waters with nowhere to land, the Lord will welcome you just as Noah welcomed the weary bird. He reached out his hand and "pulled her in unto him, into the ark," and in the same way, our Savior

draws us to Himself. When we’re too tired to reach the ark of salvation on our own, and we’re ready to sink into despair, His pierced hands gather us up and hold us close. In this way, Jesus is our Noah, our true rest and the one who gives us rest.
