Spurgeon’s Daily Help
To learn how to be a witness for Christ, look at His example. He was always witnessing—whether by the well in Samaria, in the Temple of Jerusalem, by the Sea of Galilee, or on the mountainside. His testimony was so clear and unmistakable that no one could doubt Him. Christian, let your life be a clear
testimony too. Be like a stream where every stone at the bottom is visible. You don’t need to say, "I am true"—just be true. Study your great example, Jesus, and be filled with His Spirit. Remember that you need a lot of teaching, a lot of support, a lot of grace, and a lot of humility if your witness is to bring glory to your Master.

Small inconsistencies are dangerous. Little thorns cause great blisters, little moths ruin fine clothes, and minor flaws and small faults steal countless joys from our faith. O believer, if you’re not living much differently from sinners, you don’t realize
how much you’re losing by conforming to the world. The sweet fragrance of fellowship with God is lost in worldly conversations. So come out from among them.
