Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)

Today’s Quote
Prayer is the nearest approach to God and the highest enjoyment of Him, that we are capable of in this life.

Spurgeon’s Daily Help
If, in God’s plan, you lose something because of your conscience, God will repay you—not in the silver of earthly prosperity, but in the gold of spiritual joy. Remember, life isn’t about how much you own. To have a pure heart, a clear conscience, and God’s favor and smile is more valuable than the richest
gold or the most profitable trade. “Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a feast where there’s strife.” A little peace of mind is worth more than a ton of gold.

As long as there’s any selfishness in us, it will spoil our enjoyment of Christ, and until it’s completely gone, our joy will always be mixed with grief. We need to dig up the roots of our selfishness to find the worm that’s eating away at our happiness.
A true believer’s soul will always long for the peaceful state of complete surrender and won’t be content until it’s lost in the vast sea of divine love.

Did you ever notice how the Bible ends? It closes with that happiest of conclusions, marriage and happiness.
