Therefore, stop boasting in men. All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. All of them belong to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. — 1 Cor 3:21-23 BSB

Everything in heaven and earth that can contribute to your spiritual good is yours if you are an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. The silver and the gold, and the cattle on a thousand hills, are all Christ’s because all power has been given to Him in heaven and on earth. Whatever your temporal needs may be, He can meet them because He is King on earth as well as in heaven. Whatever enemies you face, He is able to defeat them; whatever evils press upon you, He is able to subdue them; whatever sorrows surround you, He is able to console you. Everything in time, and everything in eternity, in this world and in the world to come, is working for your good if you are an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ.
