Morning

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God. — Rom 8:28 NET

Certainly your angry judgment upon men will bring you praise; you reveal your anger in full measure.—“You meant to harm me, but God intended it for a good purpose.”

Everything belongs to you, whether… the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.—For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God. Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.

My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything.

Evening

The fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. — 2 Cor 13:14 NET

“I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he resides with you and will be in you.”—“He will not speak on his own authority,… He will glorify me, because he will receive from me what is mine and will tell it to you.”

The love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

The one united with the Lord is one spirit with him. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.—The Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.
