"Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you. — Isa 43:1 NET

“Don’t be afraid, for you will not be put to shame! Don’t be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated! You will forget about the shame you experienced in your youth; you will no longer remember the disgrace of your abandonment. For your husband is the one who made you – the Lord who commands armies is his name. He is your protector, the Holy One of Israel.”—I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud. Come back to me, for I protect you.—By precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.

“But the one who will rescue them is strong. He is known as the Lord who rules over all. He will strongly champion their cause.”—“My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.”

Grace and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever! Amen.

I will tell of the faithful acts of the Lord, of the Lord’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the Lord did for us. — Isa 63:7 NET

He lifted me out of the watery pit, out of the slimy mud. He placed my feet on a rock and gave me secure footing.—The Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.—Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?—But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.—Who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! – and he raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
